Playing in a group will be very easy against randoms not in a team. Wyrdo and I almost turned a game around on our own yesterday when we were the only 2 left and they still had 7 lives left by sticking together. In the end we had to settle for the draw.

I think this is so true of a lot of games where people dont do objectives and do there own thing , sometimes randoms can play well together but a party will always be better .
 
Games like GOW and Halo need people to go around in groups. 1 v2 you will always lose.

At least in COD you can take down multiple people on your own.

Not saying either is better, but they certainly require a different play style
 
I really hope the servers work all the time when this game is released otherwise online will be just as bad as Gears 2. Watch this youtube video:
The first clip he misses a few times but I count 3 point blank shots. But the second bit is just ridiculous. He should have killed the guy instantly.

In this you actually have to stay together but keep some distance because of the over powered sawn off. You have to be really carefull going 2v1 with someone with a sawn off.

I won a game of TDM last night with a 15 killstreak, I couldn't believe my luck when no one went for the mortar and left me there to clean up in both rounds. I got 4 with one mortar :D

Lancer power still needs a tweak, it's damn annoying when someone is shooting you from range with a Gnasher, you can see the pellet separation but they still seem to be doing more damage than you.

I've had people run at me with a Gnasher down a corridor while I'm piling lancer fire into them. I only just get them down before they get to me.

I'm really enjoying this now, I don't win often enough but I really like the game, maps are dull but I think they released these 4 for the beta for that reason. So those that can't get in the beta won't take more than 3 seconds to learn the maps.

Finally a decent reason not to bother with whatever tat gets the cod label this year.

Wow awful, but no worse than any other P2P shooter on xbox live. It's dated and doesn't work and we pay for the privilage. Some excellent shooters and games released that I would have continued to play and love if it was dedicated server based. Crysis had some amazing work done on maps and balance and they blew it with P2P :(
 
I feel the same really.
Black Ops is a great game but p2p and terrible host selection ruins it. Same with Crysis 2. That game has the worst host selection i've seen in a game yet.
Hopefully they'll keep up with the demand for dedicated servers for this game. It'll be us the suffer as priority will be for american gamers like always.
 
So what are you saying if there isn't enough dedicated server space you will be dumped to P2P?

I understand that will happen if something breaks but I wouldn't bother if there is a chance og Gears of war 2 style play.
 
I really hope Epic don't make a habbit of this inflated head / rabbit head thing, it's a nice idea but takes up half of the screen. >_<
 
Thats why I never found it then, I didn't like the sound of giving other people the choice of what to play because they always pick the most retarded gametype and map they can find and veto all the good stuff.
