The question is, are you still going to use the PS Store when it comes back online?
This is another question that confuses me.
After this debacle, do you really think Sony would be stupid enough to run with sub-par security measures again? It's like those that expected the 360S to be unreliable due to the problems with the original Xbox.
If it happens again Sony will be well and truly done for in the gaming market pretty much forever. They will endeavour to not allow it to happen again.

I don't think any of them will leave and get an xbox. If anything they might get an xbox as well and have both but they would have to be a right drama queen to sell their ps3 over this.
If anyone does get rid of it they will be back in six months or sooner.
And WTF has Sony Online Entertainment got to do with the PSN. I thought they were separate systems?
Then answer these two questions.....
Where is the PSN data centre based?
Where is SOE based?
Once you've answered the first you'll have the answer to the second.

I was told by a friend of a friend who works for Sony that it is just a choice of tacky games you could only purchase from the PS store.

I've completed Uncharted 1 and 2 since PSN went down so it's been great for clearing my gaming backlog.
