Critque my spec

Budget<£350. No hard drive, keyboard and mouse or os will be needed.

Here's what I've come up with for a build for my brother:

Cpu: X4 955be
Motherboard: Asus M4A78LT-M LE AMD 760G
Ram: OCZ Special Ops 2x2gb
Psu: Corsair cx 400 (He already has this)
Case: Antec 100
Gpu: HD 5850 extreme

I have acouple of questions. Will the psu be able to handle all of this overclocked? I seen that on one of the tests on tom's hardware that the following system (X58 i7 975 Extreme @ 4GHz + hd 5850) pulled 305w from the wall under FurMark. Would I need to upgrade the psu or will it be fine?

Is there a better motherboard for around £45?

He'll only be running at 1440x900 as well so he'd be fine for games like battlefield 3 later on in the year at high probably.

A simple resolution for a 5850 GPU too push along, crank the settings up to compensate

I can manage to source all of this for £315

X4 955-£83

Sapphire hd 5850 - £105
Ocz specails ops 2x2gb - £35
Coolermaster 212+ - £15
Antec 100- £40

Still worth buying even though it's a dead socket or will bulldozer be supported on this mobo (supposedly)?

Still worth waiting to find out about compatibility.

That motherboard wont support Bulldozer.

Its not on the listed support released by ASUS
