Pump Help

So in Dec 08 i bought Swiftech Laing D5 Vario MCP655 12V DC Pump (according to ocuk order history)

Here is a picture of my actual pump:

Now, i asked a few months back if this pump (from the description) would go with one of these. I was told it would be fine.

I cant work out how my pump even fits in one of those. I can only see 4 screws which hold the base on as far as i can tell. So i can only assume i was sent the wrong pump and this doesnt fit?

Can anyone confirm / deny this?

Does it have the speed control pot on the back? Either way it looks like a D5 to me. I'm not sure how it's mounted in the res, but i would imagine that you would need to unscrew the top of the D5 and maybe screw it into the res?

Yeah, you need to unscrew the top off the pump and put it in the bay like this:-

Yes you can adjust the speed from the back, you can remove the plastic around the dial to reveal a circuit board. I cant physically see any screw to remove.

The whole pump head with the barbs on, unscrews from the pump body.

When you say unscrews, do you mean the whole physical unit unscrews, or there are screws that need to be removed?

Thats the correct xspc dual bay res for the d5, the pump goes inside the right hand compartment if your looking at the res from the front, you will need to remove the stock pump top. Here's the page for it on the xspc site.

Ok so ive seperated all 3 parts, however i do not see how i can fit it in to the resovoir as there are no screw holes?

I think ive bought the wrong res actually, i bought "XSPC Single DDC Dual 5.25in Bay Reservoir with Multi Fascia

looks like the one i have is for other pumps :s

Can't even return it as i bought it few months back, but ran out of money. Ah well to the mm i go.

Yes you have bought the wrong res. The DDC is a different pump entirely I'm afraid.

Is the correct res even still stocked anywhere as i swear its been out of stock on ocuk for 4 months :s
