Is PSN under attack? - PSN now back up 15/05

Little big planet 1 is a likely suspect for one of the games imo.
Or they may just be even cheaper and it'll be something like Dead Nation or similar priced PSN.
All are fine by me, I'm just wanting PSN back, not bothered about free stuff but I would like my PSN+ to be discounted for the time missed.

Does anyone think that because they've brought in various security companes and beefed up their security when they eventually do come back online there will be a few hackers trying to break in as a challenge causing more problems?

Yep, But lets just hope the security is upto a good standard this time. And lets also hope engineers have found and removed any holes\backdoors that hackers have intentionally left themselves, inorder for easy access later.

If I was a hacker, I'd have a go and cracking the new security. :D

they have already given lbp 1 away for free in the past, so they wont be doing it again, think it was for ps+ subscribers.

it will likely be mini games, or 5 games they have never given away before from there own publishing house.

'There will be no multiplayer component of L.A. Noire – the combination of innovative technology and unique gameplay that allow you to solve crimes through interrogations and investigation is really one that’s geared entirely for a single-player experience. Trust us that this is a game unlike any you’ve played before – very different not only for us here at Rockstar but for videogames as a medium. Bolting on generic multiplayer on top of that would not make much sense, or be a good use of our time or development budget! Hope this clears up any confusion. We thought this would be spelt out in some of last week's previews, but as it wasn't, we felt we should clarify ourselves.'

So doesnt really matter which console u get noire for

might be a good idea to give Infamous away free, what with I2 coming soon

looks like i'll be picking up Brink and LA Noir on the 360 then, if true

Fair enough with Brink, but isn't L.A. Noire predominately single player? Has it even got any multi-player?

Edit: Beaten to it!

PSN being down makes very little difference to my gaming, I'm just missing out on new games/DLC from the store. If it'd been a few years ago when I was into online gaming on the PC then I would probably be tearing my hair out, but it's no biggy to me now.

Crazy, my mate is asking me how much 360s are he is a massive PS3 fan and cod player and is thinking about buying a 360 to play cod online.

I bet MS cant believe their good fortune.

If/when PSN comes back online, it's going to have to be one of the most secure sites on the planet.

It's going to be very tempting for hackers. :(
