OK so months ago I bought an E8400 to replace my E6750. I have my E6750 OC'd, and I also have a RAID0 setup on the motherboard's RAID controller.

So if I take out all of the drives, label them up so I remember which goes which SATA port, then flash the BIOS to support the 45nm E8400 will I just be able to connect every thing up and reconfigure the BIOS, or will I need to reinstall my OS?

Cheers!

I recall only ever once flashing a BIOS with a RAID set-up.. and didn't experience any problems. You won't have to replace the OS since the chipset is the same and the RAID setup will be fine, just re-apply the RAID setting in the BIOS and you should be off.. No need to disconnect any drives.

yeah I'll back up my vitals (mainly my music) just in case.

OT slightly, but can anyone point me to the latest nVidia 680i BIOS? Can't seem to find it on the site, only drivers.

Cheers all!
