Any one help with this problem. Desire is rooted via UnrEVOked method, and installed LeeDroid 3.0.5 last night. Rom is running fine and was hoping to add some more bits to it but cannot get back into recovery screen. Holding down - & power does not do anything, is it reflash again or is there another way of getting to the recovery screen.

3 options

turn fastboot off in the options and phone with then do a complete shutdown and then enter recovery as normal
Use rom manager to boot to recovery
Pull the battery and then enter recovery as normal

This phone is still driving me mad with text messages.

Messagings are arriving time stamped in the future. Only by 1 minute each time but this means if I look at my conversation I see my reply above and not below the original message.

Any ideas?

Anyone know what sort of time it takes HTC for repairs? have to send mine off as its constantly rebooting by itself (very annoying!) :(. Forgot to ask the guy when I was on the phone!

Bug in HTC's messaging app, tends to happen if you reply quickly after receiving a text.

Is there no fix for it? It happens if I reply within about 1 minute and seems to happen becuase there is a descrepency between the timestamp on the incoming message and the time the phone thinks it is.

Mmmm, more reasonable, although still a reasonable wodge of cash :)
I think that offer has expired though :(

I'm half tempted to buy out of my current contract anyway, Orange signal has really gone down the pan around here in recent months :(

I've had a leedroid 2.2 ROM installed since Sunday. I can't believe how much more stable and responsive it is than modaco ROM it replaces. No more freezes or lock ups.\o/

I hear ya - buying out of my orange contract and switching to T-Mobile. 12 months ago I'd not have said a bad word about Orange - full signal for the entirity of my commute to work on the train but lucky to get any signal at all these days :( poor show

Hey guys,
Quick question as im reading some mixed views on this.

I have a HTC Desire which is on Orange UK, its branded and it was locked until i got an unlock code.

So... I'm wanting to flash CM7 on to this device, can i just follow this noob guide on xda http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1016084 ?

The only reason im asking is that i read that since its still Branded ill have to use a Gold Card, although i thought i would only need a Gold card if the device was locked.

Any help is appreciated

Edit---

I just found out that you don't need a goldcard when using Unrevoked.
