Very well, not likely to cost you a penny in running costs. They dont have much to go wrong on them anyway, and are really reliable.

Are you being serious or do I need to get my sarcasm detector checked? I'd have thought having just about every gadget under the sun, air suspension and a V12 under the bonnet there would be quite a lot to go wrong?

I just traded the 535d in for an SL600 with an RAC warranty to save money on fuel and repairs... was that a mistake?

The guy has his answer really. He needs to buy a Mondeo as suggested.

The S600 V12 is a bloody nightmare, dont buy one princey unless you are worried that your wallet is too heavy at the moment.
