Because it seems like hes having us on?

It seems that all he does is join forums, posts his massive "spec" list and some photos and nothing else?

If he contributes, comes back and explains a bit more im sure he will be more than welcome.

Maybe he's busy at the moment and can't contribute?

We should give him the benefit of the doubt for now at least.

At the age of 24 it's easily possible that he has all those cars.

Of course it's possible, but as Will has pointed out, the whole thing stinks of BS.

Tbh the only discrepancy I can see is the FMIC being changed for the Pro Alloy one. Maybe he's so close to ordering it, he might as well list it? *shrugs*

All the other stuff, is worded slightly differently, but all looks the same. For example, the RS4 throttle body probably is 80mm. I can't be bothered to look it up.

I obviously realise where you're coming from with the BS lately but I've been at the receiving end of you bunch of cynics before - GTR, DB9 story etc - and it's a bit tiring!

I just can't understand why people would sign up and BS. I know people do it but maybe it's because I see it as being so utterly pointless that I prefer to give people the benefit of the doubt?

If I'm being honest I couldn't give a toss who I upset, if I turned up claiming to own my cars but gave shakey details, mismatching dates and conflicting spec lists I would expect to be torn apart, the earnest is on me to deliver some proof not on the forum readers to take everything at face value.

OcUK motors is weird and wonderful place where the majority of the posters are new poster paranoid, you only have to look at past wonders like the portable sun, the car transporter of classic cars etc... there are tonnes of threads created and populated with utter crap. That's what makes this place so popular, its independant, we really don't care if we offend with the opinions posted and it's contains a wealth of proven and trusted information.

I look forward to the points I raised being blown out the water and marvelling at a 585hp tt but if conversely I happen to be proved correct I'll carry on regardless, been there done that.....

I can see this is getting out of hand.

Im sheldon Overs. FB me. Lego (Simon Insley) owned a TT same colour as mine. I brought engine off him and now sits in my car. I brought his complete setup and plnked in my TT. He sold me a GT30 based IHI blower. (It sits on passenger seat at min). Im going GT35, car in parts at min in my dads stable. You cleary have no idea. Its a saftey devices made and was used in the Audi track cars for driver training when the TT QS was released.

Sorry all. This is all over shop and should probally come clean (some stuff on order as you can tell).

On the TB size of things I think I might be wrong as a guy told me other day a RS4 was a 80mm tho I belive it was 75mm and told the V6 R32 lump is a 80mm. Either way the car doesnt have a TB at min.

I will pull some pics off facebook later, or you guiys can probally hunt me down with a name like Sheldon

Yes its a copied spec list as couldnt be bothered last night. I only came on here get some independant advice on a new daily for me. The problem being if I got on clublupo I will be told get a lupo tdi, if I go on cupra.net they will say get a ibiza, if I go on briskoda they will all say get a VRS...... you get the idea. Here was a perfect place to get some independant advice (what a bad idea its turned out to be) lol.

Check those forums out, Im Bikerz and have been for years, Sheldon Overs. I have nothing to hide. I will get my hard drivers out later and get some pics off for you all.

It is a little odd, the truth is being stretched somewhere.

Gone back to uni at 23, now 24 yet has lots of cars going off his signature which seem pretty pointless.

Audi TT Coupe - Which had basic upgrades until last year, then extensively modified while at uni with several thousands of upgrades.

VW Sirocco 1.4TSI - Bought but "rented" to mother as she has a Passat.

VW Lupo 1.7SDI - Why?

Skoda Fabia SDI. - Why?

Honda CB1300


Unsure what you want me to say here other than justify why I brought these cars?

Audi TT

Then needed a daily as I modded TT, so brough a Lupo SDI. I think started good money so got a Rocco 1.4tsi as a daily and gave the GF the lupo. (we still have it)

I then decided to go to uni, was going to sell Rocco, however mum loved it and hated her passat, so rents it off me with the intension I could use at summer as I had no other car.

I then hated not having a car at uni so got a Fabia SDI.

Thats the story there, I dont see whats hard to understand tbh. :confused:
 
Good lord :D Does the standard gearbox and 4WD system cope with the power ok?

Steve (Guy in redline with 557bbhp TT 2 months ago) a good mate. He has rough same spec as me (for all you unbelivers a IHI GT30 wont flow 585bhp) :p

He runs a stock gearbox (new one on order) and is fine to an extent. Hes done loads of miles, did ring with him in 2010 and it was ok! Im going to run it till it goes (if it goes). Then maybe cyro a new one and drop that in.

I have the plug in upgraded haldex, however DTA will be ordered soon to have more control over the 4wd system
 
apart from all the other dubious content I can't believe nobody pounced on :

585hp from a gt35 setup

pull the other one its got small FMIC on it


She does run this, I have a Jabbasport dyno (tho on Simons pro alloy FMIC). That was on the IHI GT30 based blower. I know dynos are pub figures but make of it what you will. However a Gt35 will flow well over this!
