Always a danger when rushing to post things up, get the OP updated etc, very interested to see the car and Mods as it stands, but it looks like a very impressive and expensive build. In addition it would be nice if you could get it on the rollers to see how much power it's making.

As a sidenote, you will get nothing but respect from people on OCUK with a machine like that, lots of us love a good car build, however it's important to put the information over in such a way that people can understand the current state of the car and have matching pics.

I look forward to the update tonight

Nope. Most of it.

Head is a Golf AGU (larger ports hence oftern called a LP llarge port head). This was then off to CNC Rick Wood to be modified and supertech valve train and cams fitted. (Huge recipt for this)!

Everything bar Engine was done by me!

Thanks mate, I have done OP and should be pretty right now. I have done a few track days, so some of you might have met me (you seem to post about track days a lot), if you have you havent posted yet as this is a very rare car and cant really be confused with much else.

I will go check out my TDI post now I have cleared this up. :cool:

Surely that would be a gt30/35 hybrid, IHI part adds the IHI housing onto either a gt30 core or a gt35 core, or have I missed something?

I'll make no apologies for being harsh about the car you claim to own, your story was so full of holes it required further digging, I'm sure you will be the first to admit based on your first post which contradicted various others dotted around

Manifold has been sorted. Manifold was fine, jabba just hung turbo off block with no surports! :rolleyes:

So all sorted now! Im an engineer see!

Yes was rather rushed, however not really BS. IHI do use parts from both blowers and change bearings also etc... (WRC cartridge) - **** knows why they call it that.

They masicaly custom make bits to fit, its not as simple as you think. Its not just housings.

I might do once shes finsihed next stage this summer. The Autograph boys have just done Steves (Another steve) V6 Turbo on a GT35. Its not doing great at min and autograph are misserable stupid *****. Thats my opion anyway. The project veyrog is a mess, Ive seen it!

Without being rude its hard to explain to people who dont know what IHI do, and simpler to try and say that as everyone has an idea what a GT30 or GT35 is. You dont know enough about IHI which is why I have confused you. Sorry. They mix and match parts and custom make bits too, I was trying to give an idea on size.

Similar was said about the project 8 minute ring E36 M3 that they had.

Someone on PH bought it and wasn't too impressed iirc!
