Man Utd...Champions for a record 19th time.

Hehe!

Nah it was weird actually. She is a football fan and knew what she was talking about but had no preference for the final. I was standing on the bar when the second goal went in. Ive never really felt emotion like that tbh,it took a long time for me to get back to her. She was in tears. I said "why are you crying?" and she just said "I dont know". It was just such a rush, i cant even begin to describe it. Ive never really felt anything like it.

Sorry for the serious post!!

Sorry to say but may be if it was a man i would understand. But don't women/ girls always cry for no big reasons. I am not trying to take away the greatness of that game but i think seeing a girl cry can't make any more special coz they do cry more often than not don't they?

So many memorable seasons there, being only 15 in 99 I dont think I could fully appreciate the achievement of the treble tbh, hence why the season that stands out for me of all those was the 02/03 season - Van Nistelrooy & Scholes that season were just drool worthy and I remember towards the end of that year speculation was rife that either (maybe both) Becks and or Giggs were to be moved on and Giggs ended that season just being unplayable, looking back now I highly doubt there was any foundation in the speculation and I doubt we've ever been close to selling Giggsy.

Giggs himself has admitted (a few seasons ago) there were real possibilities of him going to Italy, but he wanted to fight for his place in the team - and Thank God for that :D

Went to the game, my first club game - though I had to sit with the Blackburn fans. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience, not sure we fully deserved the result and the last 10 minutes was a pain to watch. Great first time to see Man U play :D.

Well done man utd, should only have been 18 if you didn't steal our title that year :D:p:(

Saw some united fan carrying a banner saying something like 'Liverpool said come back when you've won 19 titles, well here we are.' made me chuckle :)

Still think you were best of a bad bunch rather than quality this year but you deserved it and Hernandez? What a player!

Congrats

Cant say I've ever seen anything like that, the only time he's ever been linked with a move to Italy was in the late nineties and even then we'd have been very reluctant sellers

Well I saw a video a couple of seasons ago of him stating that "a number of years ago I had a chance of going to Italy........." , I dont really see the big deal - after all he stayed and the club have gained for that (whatever some fans thought in the interim) :)

I wonder if he will stay on in the backroom, has he done his coaching badges?

I'd love to see him stay in the game. He's one of the best English midfielders I've ever seen, period, brilliant at his peak and rarely "bad".

There is a lot he could teach younger players, at a club like United the youth would benefit hugely (imho) from having some of the older ex players help out the youth development.

Being a leeds fan I hate Man Utd BUT i'll give them their credit. They are a very good team.
Can't say anything bad about Fergie as what he's achieved with them is just incredible.
