The Susanoo Scythe CPU cooler consists of a total of twelve 6mm heat pipes and features a two segment heat sink configuration called DBS (Double Block Structure), which provides a massive cooling area for a top-flow CPU cooler. Thanks to the large cooling area, the surrounding components such as MOSFETs, Northbridge, RAM and graphics card can be cooled simultaneously. The Scythe Susanoo CPU Cooler is equipped with FMSB3 (Flip Mount Super Back-Plate 3) to ensure secure mounting on to the motherboard.

- Cools the CPU along with motherboard components
- Massive cooling area
- Features 12 heatpipes!
- PCI fan controller supplied
- Requires plenty of space for installation
- Socket LGA1366, LGA1155/6, LGA775, AM3, AM2+, AM2 compatible
- Fan Speed: 500 - 2000 RPM
- Fan Noise: 9.42 - 37.69 dBA
- Air Flow: 50.05 - 200.21 CFM

there is a few reviews of this up on youtube, personally i think you get better results with something like the d-14. plus dont really want to have 4 fans running at once just on the cpu cooler even if they are running at low rpm's. wonder if they could have made a custom fan that would allow you have only 1 on there.

It has 4x100mm fans so in theory you could fit a 200mm fan to it with some modded clips.

Lol that thing is huge, should keep the mobo and ram cool too lol
Edit: could stick one of these on it :P

I'm surprised that they didn't opt for a 200mm fan in the first place. Anyone care to venture a reason why? At the moment it's effectively got 5 hubs that don't pull any air, compared to one for a single 200mm fan.

Also, the built-in PCI fan controller implies a lack of PWM control, which is surprising for a CPU heatsink fan.

Also, the fact that it vents air to the side panel restricts this unit to a very small number of cases - ones with 200mm fan mounted in the side panel (e.g. the Coolermaster Storm) or an almost entirely mesh vented panel (can't think of any examples).

For the same price, you can get an Antec 920 or a Corsair H70 or (for cheaper) a Noctua DH-D14, all of which use push-pull fans to expel air out the standard 120mm hole at the back of the case - whilst this unit can only use fans to pull air from the heatsink.

Not really sure if this is a good cooler or not in this price bracket. Only comparative testing will tell.
