What do you do for a living?

I get my living from being a son.
In the future, I suppose I'll get my living from some kind of engineering malarkey after uni.

I do however hate people who order stuff and have no intention of being in when I try and deliver it :@

Maybe it's a postmans house, and you're both knocking on each others door wondering who would be silly enough to be out at post delivery time. :p

Student-mechanical engineering.

(It appears one of many in this thread..... I guess the job market will be tough come the time I graduate >_>)

Also work in a supermarket at weekends for beer money. Although I've yet to have any OCukers chat me up at the checkout.

Make it an aim of 2011 then. Use this as an opportunity to further yourself, you'll only look back not forward if you don't.

So what if it dosen't work out? What have you REALLY lost? The time you could have used to play some rubbish game, eaten some crap takeway, watched meaningless TV etc.

Do you research in the area, see what the going prices are, cut them by 10% and keep them in your "free hours".

That's the thing, how can you advertise 'IT Break fix - Only from 6pm onwards Monday - Friday' :p

Nope moved now, jobs going very well :) been asked if I want to go for a client position with CNR as well but turned that down for the moment, too soon after a move.

Doing some work for SS7 at the moment actually, they seem to be low on engineers right now, means a lot of offshore time for your self and bonuses :)

KaHn

Random, my next door neighbours son is the European VP for SS7.
