How is Libre Office different from Open Office? As far as I can tell, they've basically just reskinned it. I only switched to OO on two grounds; firstly it's free rather than a lot of money (chief reason), and secondly, it's faster. What does LO have that's better?
LO is open source OO as OO is now solely run by Oracle and most of the people who were working on OO now work on LO.
And Oracle recently announced they would no longer be supporting it so jump ship now!

. The thing is if my family ask me for help with their computer I will fix everything that does not conform to my ideals of a streamlined experience.
Only started using it since my college kept saving lecture notes, work, etc in PDF form and all the PCs had Adobe reader.
