Doctor Who

Why is it that every time a character has to be stupid and evil is it always a woman who can't act?

Also why in these circumstances does the doctor not just slap the bitch upside the head and tell her to stop being such a moron.

Yes that's the one - it's not the lady herself, but the randomness of her appearance and the way in which the surface manipulates to reveal the door...

As with a lot of Doctor Who, I don't know why it creeps me out but it does! :(

The last episode was fairly average, although now that the doctor has a ganger it could easily be the ganger that gets shot by whoever was in the space suit, although I expect the easy solution will be for the real doctor to send the gangers into some kind of alternate universe somehow for some reason.

I came to the same conclusion that the ganger would be the one that got shot.

Well to sum it up the Ganger episode was ok but not great. I really liked the Gaiman episode, that had everything doctor who should always have including a different universe, different planet, the doc building a ramshackle tardis, the cubes and wrecked tardis ships. That House entity thing sounded evil but I couldnt shake the polar bear in the freezer giving food tips advert voice lol.

Thing is, when he got shot, Amy did ask if it could be a clone. River did a scan thing and said no, this is definitely the original. Sure, the scanner might not be able to detect the difference, but it would be a cheap way out of it after they've already said it's not a clone that gets shot.

it can't be one of the Gangers, why would a Ganger inherit the ability to regenerate, it's a bit far fetched.

Plus, Moffat did say in the first/second episode of Dr Who Confidential for this series that it is the Doctor who gets shot and killed in the premiere.

Well the Doctor that gets shot doesn't regenerate, does he? ;)

But it won't be the Ganger. Ten quid says this is all wrapped up neatly by the end of next week's episode.

Yeah buuuuuut....you heard the ganger "I'm the doctor" he said, so technically it would be the doctor who got shot in the premiere :D

As to how it gets the ability to regenerate, we dont see the "doctor" who gets shot at the beginning actually regenerate (we see it start, but we dont see it complete so we dont know that it actually can), so we dont know that the ganger doctor actually can regenerate anyway. Alternatively , maybe as its an exact clone it can also regenerate, wibbly wobbly timey wimey and all that, its one of the benefits of being space/sci-fi/time travel, you can basically do whatever the hell you want and use the wibbly wobbly get out line if things dont entirely fit. It might not make sense, but then again almost every episode we have something which doesnt make sense :D
