Decision Made!

Thought they would be around that. Thats a hell of lot, maybe in a few months, or if I can find a buyer for the originals.

Awesome looking car, and I personally quite like the wheels, at least its a little different!

I live just round the corner from you in Lower Earley and am working in Wokingham currently so will keep a look out for the car :)

The wrong side of £3k? Im having second thoughts now....

It set me back £25k, which I thought was a fair price. Not a huge steal but a fair price.

You assume very wrong! A 19 inch wheel and tyre set from BMW is the wrong side of £3000.

I did say in excess :p

It appears the list price for one 359M wheel (sans tyre) is around £800 :o

Which is why, when I get an M3 next year, it will have the competition pack already on it :)

Make sure you've opted to pay monthly for the warranty given its on 58k. Then you get the sub 60k price for as long as you pay monthly :)

I thought that too but on the BMW website it says "BMW promise not to change the price within the first 12 months".
I have already applied for the warranty on the pay monthly option :)

This means they guarantee not to change it within the first 12 months but can, should they wish, do so after.

So far there are no reports of them doing this, it just lets them reserve the right to do so.

Presumably so that in 30 years time you are not paying £110 a month for a warranty on your 33 year old M3 :D

The fuel filler cap says "use 95 - 98 RON fuel only".

What are the implications of using standard unleaded, and what if I use 99 RON fuel?

The quoted performance and economy figures are based on using 98 RON fuel. Use less than this and it will be slightly less powerful and slightly less economical.

Quite why you'd use normal in a £30,000 M3 I've no idea. Super is only 3p more at Sainsburys..
