Monster Hunter pretty much owes a lot to the original Phantasy Star Online for being the only other game series that uses a very similar gameplay mechanic style and does so successfully.

Blue Burst (The most recent version of PSO for PC) has always been a free download. You can get it from the link in OP. But as I already explained, the link on the website doesn't work, but you can still get it from their forum.

Works for XP, Vista and Win7.

I'm playing the original as you bumped this thread actually.

I can't wait either, hope it comes sooner rather than later. But the game will need months of closed beta, and translating into English. So it won't be anytime soon unfortunately.

I like RAcaseal best too. Guns F.T.W.

But I didn't like RAcast because of the STOMPSTOMPSTOMPSTOMP.

Not too keen on the new RAmarl/RAcast designs. But since I don't play those classes... Meh.

Cant wait for this now i found out about it. Spent a lot of time playing PSU on the Xbox 360.
Would be good if we could get a little OC group together to level up ext when it comes out.

Looking forward to seeing how this game pans out, though at the same time I dont really want to play it as I know I'll end up putting too many hours into it

Online Action RPG would be the more appropriate term.

And yeah if tradition continues, it should have a single player component too.

*** Please fully star our swearing *** nostalgia levels overflowing!!! When I had my Dreamcast PSO was the first online game I had ever played! It was so amazing! My mum use to rage at me playing it because we had 56k and you couldn't use the internet and phone at the same time back then, and it was also like pay per minute type tariffs!
