Join OcUK channel. Im on with datamonkey and 2 others i have no idea who they are.

I wonder if we can get a list of ingame names and add them to first post, maybe a mod could do it?
 
I keep forgetting there are a few OCUKers on WoT. I've been trying to get back into it now it went live and boy do I miss having gold :p really cant bring myself to buy any though.

I must admit I haven't done any reading up on the clan systems for a while, is there any benefit to it other than the clan battles?
 
Well I finally grinded up to Hetzer from the bottom, it's slow, poor gun rotation and gets tracked a lot but I just love it and can't stop killing!

I had a properly pimped Churchill before wipe, rammer, ventilation and accuracy wossit. Bloody thing was worth over 2 million.

Anyway, if you end up facing one and you have lousy armour you're basically toast.

It's a scout level gun but that's only funny when you've got more health and armour than the tank it's on.

It's just a shame it gets lousy matchmaking so it gets IS-3, KT and T-32 tanks when it's limited to AP ammo and the penetration value on that is 105mm (that's crap vs even a KV).

It's best vs medium and light tanks, high rate of fire and quick turret means you can't peek or strafe it and get away clean.
 
Just got the 10.5cm gun for the Hetzer, boy does that thing do sickening damage! Knocked out 3 TDs from bushes in a row while defending a base, all with one shot!
 
Got the SU-100 tonight. Forgot how 'meh' it is, its not bad, but just not as fun as the 85 or any of the other TDs above it. Will be another 63k exp till it gets good.
 
Was in my Hetzer in a game full of rubbish tanks, got ganged up on and with my engine gone I was a sitting duck, however I still took a mighty 24 shots to finally take me down!
 
Today and for the next 2 days (til the 10th) you get 5X experience for your first win of the day on EACH tank.

Also all equipment for your tanks such as Rammers, Ventilation, Gun Laying Drives, Coated Optics etc is HALF PRICE.

You don't need to mount it on a tank straight away either.

To buy without mounting equipment, even lockable equipment such as a Rammer, go to the Store tab and buy it.

It will then appear as in Depot and will lock to whatever compatible tank you later fit it to.



So I personally am buying a fair few 600k modules like Ventilation Class 3, Vertical Stabiliser Mk 2 and so on since that's 300k off for the next few days.

As and when I get the tanks I can mount them on I'll be able to do so :)
 
Hey all,

Just wondering what hardware is recommended for team speak?

I usually play with headphones on, so do I need some sort of headset with a mic? If so what is recommended as sounding good?
 
I tried this game out for the first time, and all the tanks went invisible on the game starting, some kind of well know bug that hasn't been patched.

I would have preferred if the game was in the modern setting really, who wound't want to drive the M1 Abrams.
