Need help purchasing an SSD...

My budget is £250 and i am looking for a drive with good reliability and performance.

With all the new drives that are out, i have no idea which one to go for

I found this on behardware:

Components returns rates

SSDs

- Intel 0.3%
- Kingston 1.2%
- Crucial 1.9%
- Corsair 2.7%
- OCZ 3.5%

OCZ Agility 3/Vertex 3 are the fastest out there at the moment.

Crucial M4s are very dependant and very fast, but suffer slower write speeds (doesnt really matter in an SSD).

Intels are very expensive, but as you say silly reliable.

But only if you mobo has SATA 6GBs

Wouldn't place too much on those numbers. OCZ drives are more popular I would have thought, so more people = more return rates.

Crucial for me, I have always found their customer service to be excellent and their in the uk too so hassle free.

If that's too expensive then either the M4 or Intel will also be a good purchase.

Thanks for the reply guys. I've decided to buy the 120GB OCZ Vertex 3 Max IOPS Edition but i cant see it on OCuk.

Any ideas when this will be in stock and the price?
