The whole Caporegime thing is wrong.... I mean you can't base these things on how many post's a person has or how long they have been a member. It should be about about how many problems you fix.

I think something like this would be difficult to implement? Unless a thanks system was introduced and you moved up the ranks based on the number of thanks you had. Wow there's an idea!

Ideally yes, and that leads onto the question of how people would know. Feedback for example? A ratings system?

I use a VB forum that has an iTrader profile attached which is like an ebay feedback score with positive and negative.

It also has the thank user option for each post which is cool in a way but makes the forum more cluttered looking.

The status/avatar set up here is an utter waste of time. There's nothing individual about it, making it pointless.
