So nobody can match them then, which is hardly a surprise.
Arsenal didn't really outplay them at all, they just got a lucky break at the end with Arshavin, who funnily has done nothing else all season
Exactly, this cant go on. We need to beef up this team.

Berba wouldn't have made any difference
We couldn't keep possession. Berba for all his qualities lacks pace and effort. Interesting to see where he ends up.

I did say united have noc hance. only way uited would have won it is if barcelona diddnt turn up.
imo barcelona wasnt in full gear at all. they diddnt press that hard as they usualy do

Could have done better than Hernandez, he had little service, but when he had it he did **** all with it.

It's so crazy that we've STILL not won anything!Man U need class in the mid field, they've got good players but not world class. Nani never will and never could replace Ronaldo, Giggs n Scholes no matter how brilliant they are they are only getting older. Anderson and Valencia I don't rate at all, Fletcher and Carrick are okay but compared to others not only against Barca but through the PL there are better. This current Man U side is good, not great or the greatest they have had.
No doubt as soon as that final whistle went Fergie started to plan next season changes, who he'll be wanting to bid for next week. Man U always had a chance of upsetting the odds, only a slim chance, but this Barca side are something completely different. Just different gravy!

No link to Hernandez, unable to hold it up breaking from midfield and hardly any shots on target - for me he would have done all three. Are you really going to bring on Owen 3-1 down when he's basically an older, crappier version of Hernandez?

lucky break? it was an even match that night. barcleona had a good start and then we had a good spell in that half. second half we played well. we gave them more of a match then united this evening.
considering united suppose to be a far superior team then arsenal right? O and the best defence in europe?
shipped in 3 goals, could have been more in a "home tie"??
such a shame united couldnt give barcelona a game. for all the hype surrounding united.

Messi will be another Ryan Giggs he will never leave Barca he has been their since he was 9.
You won the premier league and got to the champions league final. Granted I think the united team is poor is comparison to previous teams but it would take 500million or more to build a team to compete seriously against Barca.
They are possibly the greatest club side ever put together. Fairly cheapily as well IIRC. Up until they bought Villa wasn't the whole side assembled for less than the cost of Ronaldo?
I honestly don't know who you could buy which man for man would give Barca trouble. **** knows why they want Fabregas.
