totally guessing but I would imagine the first print run of it would all be limited edition and come with this bonus, much like bad company and crysis 2, please correct if im wrong however.

thing is how do you know its not just a tweaked bfbc2 engine which basically it is.

they have to sell the game they gunna give you what you want to hear.

from watching the videos i can see bfbc2 and the last moh in there in very similar ways. you telling me they wouldnt of used none of these games coding to make bf3 !

they have you know it so its not new its tweaked. the whole reason they focusing on the " new engine " is to highlight it from mw3 to try to win sales as this is the whole argument on cod series its same ol engine **** cod its old lol

its like arguing about cod engine does it look like cod 1 now ? does modern warfare 3 not look better :p seriously lets stop looking at the hype machine so much and think about how they going to sell the game to you then youll see the truth.

im not hating the game im buying both and will play both mw3 and bf3 i just get sick of the ea do this so much better than activision . they dont they both do the same make games and sell them to the masses.

when we see mp footage properly i think we will get a better answer not just videos of single player and some swede saying yeah we do things realistic .

Thats like arguing evolution when is a new species a new species? Pointless.

It obviously isnt totally new because they are calling it frosbite 2, but I expect the increase in code may be double and the changes may be so great as to make it unrecogisable to what it previously was.

Another question is does it look and play like a new engine. I mean when we play it we will easily be able to tell if its familiar to its predecessor. If its not it might as well be a new engine.

if they aren't just reskins or pathetically under powered that's going to unbalance the game to hell.

I can see servers kicking/banning people for using the pack weapons too.

Also it means that the original poster is dodgy as that said 3 exclusive items and one day one access item.

Wasn't it you making having these exact same worries about the Brink preorder items, that turned out fine (one of the few things that did!), I'm sure this will as well.

I'm glad to see the lack of quick scoping, the last couple of pages seem to be nothing but complaints the game isn't mega twitch based, battlefield isn't about twitch...
 
Wont the lack of quick scoping basically make offensive recons pointless, they'll all just go back to sniping from afar and being generally useless :(

That might be the point tbh. I much prefer the BF implementation than the BC. Patience and skill.
