Fully deleting Facebook?

Quick question for a family member.
How do you FULLY delete a Facebook account.
Not just deactivate!

It's about as clear as mud how to do it in the help pages.

Control panel -> Uninstall Facebook.

Yeah it works says it will delete it within 14 days, Will be deactivated until then.

You can't, they need to keep your profile to maintain the connections and stuff with other people. (ie when people tag photos).

once you give them your details they are then belong to them.

privacy issues?

You can untag yourself in seconds. Deactivating, and then after two weeks deleting, your account is an effective way to do all of this at once.

The only way is to break into their data centres and incinerate the hard drives.

Or nuke it from orbit.

Nothing else you can do really. Mark Zuckerberg is browsing your photos with one hand and fapping with the other.

1 Un tag all photos
2 Delete all photos
3 Delete all your info
4 Delete all friends
5 Ask for for name change. Example John Smith, unless your name is John Smith
6 Success

Once you've opted to delete, make sure you don't login over the next 14 days, and once 14 days have elapsed, it should be gone for good. I did this last year.
