Firstly big thanks to freefaller for driving me miles out of his way to pickup this car, he initially offered to help me move into my new flat but i duped him into driving me instead!

anyway, its peeing down with rain so i grabbed two photos inbetween getting soaked.

its a 55 reg e46 m3 sitting on 52k, just had the inspection 2 done, oil service 650 miles ago and new discs 8k ago, options wise its very decently specced

tv/sat nav
bluetooth & phone prep
HK sound
rain sensitive wipers
heated seats
PDC
xenons
memory seats

was fun to drive back , it was obviously fast fromt he get go but half way through the journey I found the sport button, much more fun, still think the exhaust note is crappy but apart from that I'm pretty happy with it. Just paid for the BMW extended warranty which was a grand (no excess) so hopefully I'll have a year of reasonably problem free motoring, having already done a tank and half of petrol though I doubt it very much ;)

oh it was £14900

let the seat colour hating begin - in fairness I have no idea why it photogrpahed so brightly its really quite dark IRL

Yeah it looks a lot more burgundy than it does in the pictures.

I realised you had discovered the sport button when you disappeared into the distance along the A3! :D

Car's in good nick glad I could help :) If you need help with the hard top gimme a shout. :)

That's the last time I help you with furniture though :p

you are legend mate, sorry i had to dash off, now playing baby sitter to a septic EMC engineer zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Amazing. Colour scheme sucks though ;). The red seats are tough to photograph well.

Spec looks good - Xenons, Memory seats, PDC, rain wipers were standard on these. Looks like you've got HK, Nav/TV, Heated seats, Electric folding mirrors, Bluetooth, Armrest (yes - these really weren't standard) and 19s as your options.

I was at Donington in mine on Friday - found a whole new level of respect of it.

What a car to have for the summer! Have fun! :D

Oh - and once you get the hard top off, one cool trick is that you can open and close the roof with the remote fob (hold down the unlock or lock button).

cheers matey,

were there actually many more options available for the car? it seems I might have lucked in on a well specced beastie here :D

and yeah I need to find somewhere to store the hardtop now :p

Heh - I don't think there were any other possible options. On the coupe you could get the electric rear blind and sunroof, but I guess the only equivalent cab option is the hard top.

Looks like the first owner of yours ticked absolutely everything apart from the SMG option.

Looks nice, cannot help but start to see the age in them though. Not that it in anyway detracts from the car because they are still awesome bits of kit.
