8 weeks smoke free

great to know, gotta be better then the 4k chemicals and i read something like 40 or over are carcinogenic or something...how stupid are we to get into this.

Thanks for the offer, i will hopefully get further this time, my plan is to lower the amount over time and the strength until im just on flavor and 0% nic...will see how i go.

Do you know how long they usually take to deliver?
Good luck m8, i hope the switch is as easy for you as it was for me.
My advice is to get 2-3 juices and not to hammer one juice too much as your taste buds will get used to it and it will start to taste of nothing, which can be a bit demoralising.

I've had great service from totally wicked, can't fault them and their forum is decent. I've recently converted to the tank (low res atty is also win) and since then have enjoyed vaping even more! This thread is the only way I can tell when I had my last cigarette, that's how little I miss them :)

I'm in my 9th week now, still completely smoke free. I have put on a couple of pounds in weight though :(

i wouldnt worry about a few pounds, so much better for your health then smoking lol!

Im really waiting for my kit, trying to not smoke so much atm, been through 8 so far today so less then i usually have.

Hope you get on as well with yours as I have with mine. The first week was a bit bumpy for me while I adjusted, and I still had my favourite bedtime smoke for three weeks. Over time I just found it tasted worse until I just didn't want it. However it goes for you, keep us posted and persevere.

I have a riva 510, currently vaping with cartridges and a drip tip not sure what I prefer yet, but would like to also use a tank system, can I get one for the 510 or do I need something new? would the tornado tank atomisers and tanks fit on the 510 batteries?

I can recommend the dual coil LR cartomisers. They really bring the flavours out of your E-liquid, much more so than the Tank atomisers...and the throat kick is well decent, you only need to toke on your Riva/tornado for a couple of seconds.

Thery hold around 40 drops of e-liquid, so one of these filled lasts me all day at work. I've been getting 5 or 6 refills before it becomes clogged up and unusable.

They cost about £1.75 per cartomiser. Not bad at all for 5 days quality vaping.

they're manufactured by Smoketech, can buy at EcigWizard, and Liberty flights, Misteliquid..probs a few others selling them too.

Edit, they fit 510 type batteries, 650mah and above. So if you've already got a Riva or tornado they'll work with those.

DCC duel coil carto's are great if you got a big battery mod but otherwise they will run em in to the ground in 2-3 hrs i got high drain 1600mah and it lasts me 6-7 hrs on DCC normally 12-14hrs @ 3.7v but yeah great TH and flavor

I only have a normal tornado battery, and to be honest so far I'm getting similar runtime from them as any other LR atomiser. Which for me is a full day at work, or a full night out, on one battery.

Depends on how much you use it of course, but for me especially this week, it's been hammered, work has been quiet :D

cheers will probably give them a go, as I am getting a bit bored of dripping to vape or constantly filling cartridges, so an all day solution sounds great :)

well been doing some research into this and it seems most of the liquids contain harmfull chemicals aswell something they actually put in anti freeze?

I can understand smoking has thousands of chemicals and this seems a lesser evil but surely this should be mentioned aswell?

EDIT: should be getting my kit tomorrow :)

Read the e-cig forums for a more in-depth look at that claim.

In essence, during FDA trials ONE sample (they tested multiple from various sources) of e-liquid was found to contain TRACE elements of diethylene glycol - a harmful component found in, amongst other things, antifreeze.

As mentioned, only one sample had it and what was there was "trace" -- ie. in scientific terms barely even worth noting, and no way enough to cause harm if ingested.

The FDA, being on a crusade against e-cigarettes (with the interests of big tobacco, amongst other financial backers on their mind) immediately published "OMG IT CONTAINS ANTIFREEZE!", which various poorly staffed media outlets began running.

Still has to make you wonder how it got in there in the first place?? Do you know the trusted makes to get so i can be as careful as possible? I went for VG Virginia Blend - Medium - 14MG, im hoping this would not be to far off Golden V which i usually have?

It wont put me off, if i can smoke tobacco and know whats in that then this should be no problem.

Just hope it works.

It's definitely true that some kind of regulation is needed so that everyone knows exactly what's in the liquid.

Most UK suppliers are trustworthy - the likes of Liberty Flights, OK Smokey (their "Mint" flavour is AMAZING), ENJuice and a few more that others might chime in with.
