Free PS Games for the PSN being down

This might be a stupid question, but how do you get the free games for the PSP?

A mate who has a US account set up can download 2 PS3 games and 2 PSP games.

It's displayed

Welcome back pack - PS3 game 1 - Then the games (same for game 2)

Welcome back pack - PSP Game 1 - Then the games (Same for game 2)

But i don't get this on my UK account, i only had the options for PS3 games.

Anyone with a UK account and PSP got their games and how?

I had to connect my psp and download through the store on psp. Nothing would show up on ps3 either in the store or account management.

It is easier to get US psp content, but I couldnt use the files as the psp can only be activated on one account. (id have to revoke uk activated content to use).

I've been through the store via the PSP and still cant see them? Going through the steps in this thread

Found them now a new problem, only have a 1GB memory card and Modnation needs 2.2GB, lol. How long with the games be available?

Just downloading my games from my us account, and the free psp games were available.

any news on what games the Japs get ? a couple different ones would be nice.

I just downloaded wipeout, as normal took ages to download plus the fury pack came as well (no idea what that is), then installed it, now go to play it and amazing, there is a sodding update! of 109MB...................

Why dont they make sure whatever it is you are downloading is up to date. You spend more time downloading than playing some times.

I don't know. I could have sworn I had an evil save from about half an hour's play but the PSN version started me off at the beginning.

Once you've chosen your free games they should show up in your download history so you can get them whenever you want in the future.

Possibly not as the game saves are often tied to a particular version. If this is the case it may be possibly to get your disk save working with the PSN version. You would need to copy both the save from the disk version and a save from the PSN version to a memory stick, plug this into a computer and if you look in the savedata folder you should see two folders with different names. Work out which belongs to which version and then copy the contents of the disk version into the folder for the PSN version. Copy it back to the PS3 and there's a good chance it'll now load your existing data when you run the PSN version.

Took 2 hrs tops here, but 7 gb is a hefty download.

I had a little go on wipeout HD which was 'ok' and Stardust HD which is quite addictive! I am gonna get stuck into Infamous tomorrow as I have the day off.

Well I have currently downloaded the following but only remember some of the file sizes.

My main account:
Infamous - 7GB
Dead Nation

My US account:
Wipeout HD
Super Stardust HD

My brothers account:
Ratchet and Clank - 3GB
Little Big Planet - 2GB

6 free games! Ratchet and Clank appears to have replaced Stardust HD but I managed to grab both.

edit: Or maybe it was different games on the US and UK accounts...

It didn't find my save with almost all collectibles found, it just started me at the beginning and when I tried to load it gave me a big fat 'no save games found'
Pretty dumb.

Mine shows me as having completed 93% but starts me at the beginning, well annoying!

Got Infamous and Wipeout HD and don't like them, oh well, can't complain at free games.

Think I'm just suited to Nintendo/Xbox systems, cant quite put my finger on it but I don't like many PS3 games.

When are Sony going to release a fix for them ******* up the fan speed of phat PS3's? My PS3 is so loud now and it's all since the last update. It's ridiculous - louder than a launch model Xbox 360.

The fan speeds up within minutes of it being on the XMB, I have it playing a standard def video at the moment and I can hear from the other side of my room.

mental wipeout hd is one if not THE best game on the ps3, but like most of these games the boat sailed along time ago....still i play wipeout online pretty much once a week its great on phantom with some good players.
