My trusty old car no longer had a place on this earth, so for the first time in years I had to buy a new one.
I ended up buying a Corsa 1.3cdti sxi. 06 plate and only 35k miles on the clock. I wanted a good little runabout. The mileage is genuine as I have previous MOTs on it and did the car check thing to find out about its history etc. Everything came back OK.
However, 2 weeks into driving the car, the drive shaft went.
After speaking to a couple of people, they said the car might of been thrashed if the drive shaft goes after only 35K miles ?
The question is, when a drive shaft goes, is this just one of those things or have I just got a car that is hanging on by its threads
