My lad posed me an interesting question I didn't know the answer to - he currently has a WD Blue 500GB with the OS and games on it (less than a quarter full) now he wants max speed on games but he never turns his PC off - so if I was to give him my 64GB SSD what would be best for him on there the games he plays the most (48GB worth) or the OS? Should know the answer to that really but I don't for sure but I bet someone here knows the facts!

The OS would be the better thing to put on the SSD imho, I am not well up on SSD's though so somebody else will probably give you better information.

In my opinion I think it would be best to put the operating system on the SSD and a few of his most played games. Put the rest on the WD Blue.

Most PC games see little benefit from SSD's as the large data files are not something SSD's can handle very well so he is better putting the OS on the SSD & the odd game or 2 which may fit.

PC games which have tiny little files do see a benefit though but outside of WOW few others use small files its mainly 1GB + data files.
