If anyone cared to take it that far then she might be in some sort of trouble - I'd suspect a reprimand and being asked to take a diversity awareness course although I don't know fully what the situation is in employment terms for invigilators.
Maybe it's one of those things where being there made it funnier, any sort of joke or even just a slightly inappropriate comment in an exam hall is liable to seem a whole lot more humourous as it breaks the tension.
