The irony with that comment is that you haven't taken a step back yourself and thought about the possible repercussions.

I'll tell you one thing now, if my wife received such a thing from someone they would receive a swift response from me.
 
You risking making a mess of your life and possibly two other peoples doing something that is quite obviously not cricket and nor would it be alright if she responded to the flowers in a 'positive' (for you but nobody else) manner.

How about looking at it from this point of view: Assuming that the girl in question is British, you need to understand that while in your culture it may be perfectly innocent, here in ours it would be considered innapropriate. Playing the ignorance card can work both ways.

some people on here have no respect for another couples relationship.

in many countries showing disrepect is one of the worst things you can do, it has nothing to do with owning women. you can find a girl attractive without tryong to break up a relationship they are in.

i might find your mum attractive it doesnt mean im about to try and win her over if shes already in a relationship and im certainly not about to start sending her flowers or text messages
