told the landlord and paid for another - haven't cleaned the freezer since.

I would happily make my landlord pay for my own mistakes as he is an absolute arse and tried to blame all the damage in this house on us after we had only lived there for a week, even cracks in the walls outside :rolleyes:

. He didn't even know we were new tennants he just wanted whoever was inside to pay for his maintenance negligence.

Definitely screwed it will kill the compressor eventually maybe not at first but within weeks tops.

The gas isn't overly toxic to humans but not a good idea to inhale any significant quantities or ingest it (from contaminated food).

If it's older than 2000, they were packed full of asbestos, illegal immigrants, Spanish cucumbers, people who are not a shops and pancakes. There's not much you can do except flee the area.

Well, its starting to die now, the freezer anyway. Do you think the fridge part will be ok or is the whole thing gone?
