My take is that Jenson didn't realize he was going so much slower than Hamilton or the Hamilton would actually try to overtake him on the racing line like that. It's a fraction of a second decision afterall.

And when he did Hamilton was still directly behind him not to the side. So a good chance he was obscured by spray. Even if he did see him at that point, he was hardly looking like he was going for a pass at the point, he moved over for the pass after Button had looked..

Yep, I take it back - after seeing that replay it does look like Button was very naughty - could have been a nasty accident.

Edit: Then again, 180mph, I couldnt do better
