The driver that picked it up decided he need a new headunit to & decided to keep mine.

It's been pinched while in the depot.

The book store is telling me porkies about it being sent out in time for Saturday delivery.

I had the nicest UPS delivery woman deliver a parcel once, had an amazing australian accent and a positive attitude, which is unusual.

dpd have been fine for me, their tracking is a bit crappy though, Just says undelivered or delivered

Really? I find they have the most detailed tracking system out of everyone!

I've only ever used them through Ocuk and then it's only ever been free delivery,

They might not offer it as it will be a budget service

Id say its the stores fault as they were quck to refund postage costs on a weekend

DPD are fantastic imo, id chose them over any other currier, and where im living currently doesnt have a problem with any currier but in other addresses ive had countless problems but dpd have always been great

Only had one real issue with DPD and that was last year, my Parcel went missing, got a refund from the supplier.

Part from that they have always delivered, lot better than City Link who never seemed to want to deliver.

Also there depot is 2 mins away

DPD delivered my Hyundai W240D Monitor without issue. They also delivered my Razer Mako speakers and my dads 50" Panasonic TV all fine. If I have an issue with someone it's FedEX

bpost = by far the worst I have dealt with. They lost one of my parcels 2 weeks ago. Investigation will take another 7 working days before the retailer will replace/refund. Not happy!

Never had a problem with DPD, and I use them to send as well.

No probs with DPD so far.

Citylink on the other hand... had lots of things mysteriously disappear at their depots

Couriers vary from depot to depot imo. Citylink are the best in my area followed by DPD then Parcelforce. DHL are very hit and miss while UPS are absolute tosh.

I've always felt the quality of a courier is based entirely on where you live and what depot serves you.

Bad experiences with DPD here, try not to use them if possible.

As above it depends on the depot of course, think nearest one to here is Crawley.

Always had brilliant service from DPD.

DPD> or equal to UPS>Citylink>Roymail> Local paper boy> Posting a parcel with no address> DHL

True. I think the whole lot are generally given a hard time, one error and the customer bad-mouths them for years...

With each courier I reckon everyone has either had a bad experience, or will have one if they keep using them. Luck of the draw!

(except bpost.... see above).
