Castle. Coming to the UK when?

I think the interactions between castle and his daughter are good, they often mirror some aspect of the episode.

I just hope they go a different way with stanas wardrobe next season though as its been pretty bad at times lately - that white t-shirt tho was good ;)

I'm not sure why she hasn't made more tv and cinema appearances, especially in a lead role as she is clearly a very talented actress and not just a pretty face. For example she made a tiny appearance in Quantum of Solace, yet she was probably more able than any of the actresses in that movie, and better looking too.

I started watching this recently and I'm just starting S2, I do like it sometimes but the strong woman cop thing gets a bit old and I think it suffers from being very formulaic. :(

Sort of like House, new episode = new case, all gets wrapped up in one episode. (for the most part)

Just started watching season 1 and im quite liking it, nice to have something to watch as everything else sems to be getting axed :(

Isn't this just a newer "Murder She Wrote"? Or am I missing something?

Quite a lot of people watch it due to the Nathan Fillion/firefly angle and while not all of the cases are that interesting its quite light hearted with fairly interesting interaction between the characters, it makes a good distraction sometimes.

Later on they do start to link together some underlying story elements into a longer plot which does start to make things a bit more interesting along with some almost shocking revelations on some of the character backgrounds. It never really takes off and is quite often fomulaic but I've always found they've managed to pump something new into it just when its starting to get really stale.
