....by a Bee/Wasp?

I can count the amount of times I've been Stung in my 45 or so years so far & today was one of them.

The damn Wasp that stung me today did so while I was driving my 7.5 tonner.

didn't half hurt & it still does several hours later. I'll live though Just glad I'm not allergic to them.

Just wondered how often people got stung on here that's all.

Probably about 5 times. I dont have a fit when one comes near me like most people so they tend to leave me alone

Once well 4 or so times in one sitting by wasps. Playing in a wood when young, disturbed a nest (didn't even see it) and had several fly up my trouser leg and missed my jewels by inches.

Well it feels like (right now) you've got a really bad bruise & very sore. The last wasp sting (prior to today) stung me in the armpit. I couldn't lower my arm properly for the rest of that day.

You forget the felling of pain, it's odd but I suppose a useful mechanism for the body.

I'm a gardener so have lost count for the amount of wasp stings. Been many situations where I have been striming long grass, to then look down and have my legs covered in wasps from standing on a nest. Got stung about 10 times once as I was wearing wellies once and when brushing them off they fell into said wellies.

Only been stung 4 times by a bee. Bee stings hurt hell of a lot more than a wasp sting which feels similar a nettle sting so not much to worry about.

One flew up my shorts once as a kid and stung me in the groin. At least it wasn't my balls.

Never been stung in 27 years. Bit of a personal victory as I remember I used to run around the garden slaying wasps with a wooden sword when I was a kid Then again, perhaps I have and am just so spectacularly manly that I didn't even notice!

Have to admit though that as an adult I do get a bit nervous when one is noising me up. Probably due to not knowing how sore it actually is.

I was stung once when I was about 4 or 5. I remember tears being shed.

Went on holiday to Turkey. I put my hands on the side of the swimming pool to get out...

What I didn't expect was many wasps drunk from the chlorine fumes at the side of pool There were like 8 wasps there and both of my hands were stinging for ages. The bar man had ice cubes with holes in and he put them over my fingers

I also threw a brick at a wasp nest before and pegged it when I did. One of my friends got stinged by a lot of wasps because he was slow :L

I think I was stung once but I wasnt sure, but then I asked my dad who kills them for a living and he confirmed I had been stung.
