30th of June strikes.

And there it is 120 posts till we got the unions comparing a pension cut to the millions killed in the holocaust.

To get an equivalent pension, you have to contribute 37% of your salary. I think most would consider teachers pensions to be in a pretty good state.

So stop being jealous of those that have an adequate pension and organise and campaign for private sector pension reform for Gods sake!

Do the Unions have to do it all?

Private sector employees, lazy bunch of gits!

Do you know how many trade unionists were killed in Nazi Germany?

You're comment is frankly insulting and bordering on the ignorant.

Wow so the government is planning on murdering all those who strike including all their friends and family?

I believe Hitler imposed restrictions on Trade Union action and membership years before he killed any of them................

But hey, if you want to roll the dice and see what way they land up then be my guest.

You are obviously correct, I can see the similarities myself. People having to pay more for their pensions is exactly like 5m+ people being systematically murdered.

It must be so nice to have such ignorance of history.

to know where we are going, we must know where we come from

Wow you are seriously comparing a pension cut to a massacre?

If you think these cuts are heading towards a genocide, then I think striking isn't really a good idea is it?

Armed revolution, petitioning the UN or the EU courts for military aid against the impending slaughter maybe, but a strike?

Surely that just makes it easier for the death squads to round you up?

Now who's being dramatic :p

I think right wingers are so much easier to bait than the lefties :-) Hitler always did have a temper.

Are you seriously comparing Nazi Germany and Coalition Led Britain?

I'm no fan of the Tories but that's ridiculous. I'm all in favour of strike once every option has been exhausted. As far as I'm aware negotiations are still on going but a strike has been called anyway.

Sigh, no he's not, he's saying that everyone - public and private sector workers - should be supporting the unions on this. Just because you're not affected by what is in effect a 3% pay cut for teachers doesn't mean that you won't be in the near future when your boss decides your private sector pension is too generous.

OMG! People seriously need to understand what negotiation should mean.

Here, I'll demonstrate.

You have something I want.
You say "No, it's mine".
I snatch it out of you hands and run off.

Is that negotiation?

Would I expect a hand shake and a "well played dear sir" or a punch in the face?

You're the one claiming they're going to murder you all.

Did I? I think you're being dramatic.
