My Pet snake

I'll ignore the other 2 who are for some reason dragging an argument on another thread into this one. Extremely childish.

There is nothing childish about it, I just wanted you to realise what you are doing to British Culture with that immigrant snake you have there.

Whats wrong with an Adder?

;) :D

Adders are an important part of our British culture. If I had one, it would have to be taken from the wild, which would put pressure on an already declining population, thereby damaging our culture. :p

Nice looking snake mate, i had a ghost corn snake a while back when i was younger was a great pet.
Really want to buy a rainbow boa sometime in the near future as they are beautiful.
Do you watch snakebytes on YouTube? If not you should check their videos out, its where i get my snake fix :)

My housemate has one that's about 2ft long now. It's pretty docile as well so you can take him out and let him slither about Your arm and what not.

That's a beauty. :)

nice snake, i used to have a columbian red tail boa a few years back, had it from a baby, grew to a very large 7 1/2ft before i had no room left to keep him, he was brilliant, i used to take him out when he was about 4ft to the shop round my neck and watch people duck left right and center when they saw him, spent a few months deciding who he should go to before i had to give him away, finally went to a nice guy who had a room specifically for his reptiles and snakes, last i heard he was about 13ft lol

can we have a video of her eating a rat plz :D

My Spider Morph Royal - Belle striking on a rat, I think she's a bit underweight to be honest, she's 18months! :)

I <3 Her

/edit

I went to get her shed skin out and she was coiled in an 'S' meaning "Dan, feed me" - so did that as a distraction so I could clean up the skin!

While I could never own a snake or a spider (looking at the pictures alone made my entire body shake lol) they do look gorgeous and I'd love to get some time with one and a decent camera.

I'm assuming all the food is already dead and teeth removed?

Food is already dead (however you can feed live, but most don't - think there are certain rules for live feeding) nothing removed though

I know I'm not the OP but I've kept reps for about 15 years, and this really made me giggle. They digest the teeth and bones completely, no fuss. ;) :D

O.o I swear i read somewhere that people would take the teeth out of rats and mice. It stuck me as odd as they don't get that like of treatment in the wild but since I don't keep them I never questioned it lol.

EDIT: maybe that was people who live feed. Still seems silly.

Nice chunky girl you have there mate.

The second i get more room a Royal is on the top of my list, gorgeous things :)

Will stick with my little corn snake for the time being, heres Dave :D :
