He obviously did check his damn change otherwise he wouldnt have done it again. Would have to be a pretty damn thick CCTV analyst to let that slide..
He was probably smiling and giggling to himself as he realised as well. He then went back outside to his caravan and got his wife to do the same thing.
You're both missing the point.
It doesn't matter that he did it twice. It doesn't mean a thing. He made a mistake and didn't check his change, twice. That's all he has to say, and they cant use CCTV footage to prove otherwise.
Seriously you have got to be STUPID not to do what he did.
We are Humans after all....
Ignoring the fact it'd never go that far due to amounts I think you'd be surprised. They will be able to see on the CCTV that he has seen the change, it obviously didn't go straight into his pocket. Then he came back with chewing gum and paid with a note despite having change in his pocket. Would they be able to prove it to a criminal level? I don't know if you could prove beyond reasonable doubt but I wouldn't be surprised. To a civil level? I don't see what excuse he could use to get out of the balance of probabilities.
We are Humans, we are greedy, if we see something we can get away with we do it. No big DEAL.
Its only you little boyscouts who wouldnt do anything like this.
Think you may be flamed for this post![]()
I would have been doing it until the machine ran out of money, too many do-gooders on here!
Incorrect marking of prices isnt theft.
