N'awh :( :p

What are you going to be studying / where? :)

I've been studying p/t for Bachelors degree and then Masters for a number of years, but now I am entering doctoral studies in I'm sure you will not be surprised, Theology and Comparative Religious Study, which requires full time commitment and thus the job had to go, I still have my pension and financially I'm secure so it seems like a good time to do what I want, rather than what I have to do. I have to finish out my 6 months notice period and sort out my successor, but by the end of the year I shall be a full-time scholar of Ancient Antiquity and Biblical Study.

What fun!

Restrict your self to survive on £150 a month (which is more than possible which also includes a couple of cheap nights out) and you will be laughing in no time :)

1 Million Dollars!

Ill get my coat

To be honest I think it is silly to have a silly amount in your account at all times. After your pay day you should be putting money required into a bills account for your direct debits to hit from, then pay the credit card off, and then the majority of the rest should go into a savings account of sorts which should have the highest intrest you can get.

What do you do for actually having a life?

Like a pub visit with friends, cinema, food, clothing, games.... enjoyment :)

Well he did say pay the CC off. If like me everything he buy goes on the CC then that doesn't preclude fun things.

Put a fair whack of it on the credit card where I get money back on purchases. I did say put the majority into the savings account, so I leave probably about £400 in the current account for when I need cash. Most pubs take cards these days though. :)

At the moment, I would feel uncomfortable if I went under £500.

Some day, I will have a pension too! :D
