So.... Driving shoes?

You couldn't drive without some?

Lol no i drove my mr2 to the garage for a clutch change and some coolant and instead of getting a taxi all the way home, which is a 2.9 mile ride, i stopped half way at a retail park thinking i could just go in and try some drift cats on to buy...

but the shop was closed so i had to walk the rest home:( and it was baking hot too.

another vote for speedcats, at first i used them for general every day use but after driving with them i dont like going back to my other larger trainers

There they are!!!!!!!!

Didn't you just buy a bently?

Nice house?

No offence

Very nice house bet you worked hard for it. My ex's parents had a house like that, with dated interior, council style (no offence!!). ;)

See theres a few things to think of with that particular house, when i first bought it i never intended to keep it, it was going to be sold on to pay for the astronomical costs of the building work on another house i got.

Well years on the other house still isnt finished because my wife is a nutter and has changed her mind on 126 different things and this one has now had too much spent on it to sell, plus iv grown to like it.

Then you have to consider with an old house, where to draw the line when you start ripping out and going mad with the chrome and glass? Anyway i like old things, im getting old myself now :)

Thats my pride and joy that blue one, i love that car.

Cant you keep your Jag and get something cheap for a track toy?

I got a pair of addidas with goodyear tyre treads on the bottom years ago, they are quite thin/slim compared to my other shoes, and quite worn now but I like to use them if it's a long planned drive.

My XK's the same colour + Ivory interior.

I love them... I have been tempted to keep it... it's just lack of space at the minute + I'm just not happy driving it most of the time... it's a bit too boring, brilliant but boring.

For the odd jaunt down to the south of france or similar, brilliant...

But for my usual day-to-day, I just want to play (within reason) and the Jag just isn't the car for that... since picking up the supercharged mx5... I find myself picking the keys for that up instead of the Jag!

And that was supposed to be just what you suggest... a cheap track thing on top of the Jag.

I'm swapping it for an Impreza... even to me it feels like a stupid thing to do, it just suits me better.

Toward the end of the year I'll have much more space and summer time next year I'll be picking up one of my dream cars... an E-Type :D
