Last Wednesday, the H-Shifter on my G27 started to malfunction. The x-axis sensor or pot stopped working, meaning 1st/3rd/5th all shifted as 3rd, and 2nd/4th/6th all shifted as 4th.

I contacted Logitech straight away by telephone, and explained the problem. He emailed me, and asked that I reply with proof of purchase (electronic receipt accepted!)

The guy on the other end dispatched a replacement, which arrived today: a complete new G27 - not just the shifter - and I didn't even have to send the old one back.

So here I am with a G27 in front of me, and another (though with faulty shifter) sat boxed up in the other room :)

Thanks Logitech, great Customer Service! :)

They did the same with my Black Momo, 3 ******** times. :D +
I have much love for Logitech & feel it my duty to big them up at any oppurtunity. :)

Yep I had a problem with the pedals on my original Momo Racing Wheel and phoned them up. 3 days later a nice UPS man had a box with a brand new momo Racing in it. Top quality service.

i had a g5 mouse which went faulty after a short period which they then replaced with another g5, a year later that went faulty and they replaced that with a g500, unfortunately that went faulty within 6 months. i didnt call them again as i felt it would be taking the pee if people kept doing it so i just ordered another logitech one from ocuk.

I've used them before for my faulty G25, and just filed another support request for my faulty G35, there tech support is top notch, but there product quality is pretty poor.

What really irritates me is when people take advantage of this level of service.

It is such a rare thing to see a company take this level of effort and dedication to their customers. I'd love to see it become common place, it's just unfortunate that some morons have to take advantage of good will.

Keep it up Logitech. You've got our support.

Great company, and dare i say the very best out there for such support?

In fact i cant think of any other company that does as much for it's customer base as logitech, i know speedlink certainly dont....

So do you want to give me your old wheel? :p As my G25 is starting to age, I think the motors are starting to go as after 30mins or so you can smell them and the wheel is rather hot. No issues as of yet with the FFB though!

Logitech also sent me a replacement wheel after my shifter lost reverse and my wheel was losing FFB.

Hmm, the only logitech product I ever bought was a left handed wireless mouse, which was cack and kept dropping the signal.

Maybe I should have rung them up and complained :)

I was in the same situation with my broken Z5500 speaker hub. You could make a fair bit of money on the bay, probably not far off 2nd hand prices...(there are some crazy people on there).

I'm all kitted out with Logitech, don't think I'd buy anything else.
Never had to return anything, but it's good to be safe in the knowledge that they're not gonna screw you over. :)
