Why's that? It's completely up to them what they do, but at this stage an abortion is a major option on the cards, and would let their lives return to normal before too long.
If you ask me we need to worry about looking after the people we already have before we can even consider bringing even more into the world where they may not even be wanted.
Without starting the whole 'when does life start' debate, I think the fact that an abortion is marketed as a perfectly viable option is actually making people less careful.
'Oh it's positive? I'll make an appointment - we can grab a pizza on the way home'
Just seems the wrong way round to me. You have created a life, its time to man up and support it - not kill it because you cannot afford it / don't want it.

Yes, but it's like washing your feet with your socks on.

Because it has come to the point where abortion is considered just another form of contraception, which is unfortunate because the majority could be avoided from the very start.
It really isn't that difficult to avoid getting your partner pregnant and still have an active sex life.
And yet (assuming positive result from ****ing on a stick test, even though this does look a bit like a troll thread now) it wasn't so that's not an option at this point.
As i say, in a world with almost 7 billion people on it, 3/4 of which live in poverty, i think we have far more pressing concerns than forcing yet another child onto somebody. Do you want your child to be born into that world? Because i don't.

I would assume that your parents were also happy for you to be born
I've always said (possible risk of causing disturbance in the ranks here), that the right to reproduce is something that should be applied for, until then all women should legally be obliged to have that 3 month injection.
Once they've settled down with a fella, then they fill in the forms and she gets granted the right to not have the legal jabs.
Problem solved.
Drivel
