Me and him we got a understanding have had foir years anyway hes gone home now with me car an indian and a few quid im not seeing the problem here

I would love a Porsche 911, but the reality is until our kids are both at school and my wife is back at work I have no chance. Unless I sell one, or all, of the forementioned parties.
I imagine we are looking at 5/6 years time so this is going to be the model I am looking at S/H.
In the meantime, maybe I could purchase a Sport Ka to give me that Porsche feel....nanospider is onto something here.

but its not always that way. How often have people said that the pre LCI E60 was a step backwards from the E39 for example ?
That's a pretty good point. One of the things that swung me from a 997 to the e92 was the interior.
An e92 M3 is not a porsche - or course it isn't. But I don't think they're intended to be direct competitors as such.
