Cheap Maserati

Well on paper they are both around the 5s mark to 60, have around 400bhp, the 4200 is slightless less iirc and both will do 170+mph.

You're all mad. :D

I want it so badly. Maseratis are the finest looking vehicles in the business IMHO. One of the directors at work occasionally brings his wife's Quattroporte in (yet he drives an RX8, lol) and I can't help but give it a good eyeing up every time I see it, and I heard it start up in the underground section of our car park the other day... Oh my.

Exactly, I was expecting to see this thread closed in a matter of minutes but as it hasn't I think the flood gates have been opened

Unless you have something special, (no a Mondeo or 3 series bmw will not do) then don't post tbh ;)

Surely the price means the thread is more of an offer of a favour than an advert? :)

*shrug* That's how I took it...

That said, I wonder what the reasons are behind not having a Motors section in MM?

Mixed thoughts on the car itself, AFAIK it's not the best V8 GT car, but then the price reflects that. Effectively it's priced against an E46 M3. The M3 would be the better drivers car, but then this has got *that* V8...

Kind of curious to know more details, but afraid of talking myself into it... :D

Motor MM, hmmm that could work, with no traders etc.

But what if someone bought a car and it died on the way home, that could open a whole new level of forum grievance.

I once offered a heatsink fan free of charge to someone who needed one in one of the hardware sections and the post got deleted due to it being sales related, even though no money was changing hands.

Nothing against the thread but I just like to see consistency in the enforcement of the rules.

So if I was to offer my Octavia for a £1200 that wouldn't be acceptable? That is £500 less than the part ex value. Surely that would be an "offer" and not a sale too right?

If you sold you car for a pound it still wouldn't count :D

But if you are email in trust.

Lovely looking motor and definitely the right price, but:

I could never buy one of these without the boomerang lights :(

This is so true! Saying that, if I had 14k burning a hole in my pocket I'd be knocking on your door. You struggle to find a boxster that ticks all the right boxes for that cash.

Good luck getting this to the right owner. What is your son getting next?

£15-£14500 as thats what I've seen 2 go for on the HSV forums recently. Unfettled examples with low miles and a Monkfish service history are very sought after.
