Steam Summer Sale 2011

Woop! SpaceChem was one of the games I was hoping was in the sale. The demo was fantastic. Well worth 3 quid.

Now I'm just waiting for Portal 2 to be in a daily deal. I'm sure it's going to be on offer for <£10 at some point this week.

If not, i'm happy to wait until the xmas sale. I've got plenty more games to get through in the next 6 months.
 
Only thing I've bought so far is the Beat Hazard Ultra upgrade. Amazing game - makes my eyes bleed and my brain explode with all the strobing effects, but it's great fun.

Lol, its a completely new game.

The perks will make it take a while to fully max out (which can be a good thing) but it means you get a bit more control over the powerups you get and they are generally stronger than what they had in the base game and you won't have enough for all of them so you can pick and choose.
You can get extra lives, extra superbombs, bigger multipliers and the 3 new weapon types are supposed to really add to things. So far I've only got the Micro Missiles (upgraded nearly to max) but its a whole new experience. Not to mention the new bosses and units really change things up.

I bought Scratches too....looks an interesting Horror/Adventure game and not enough of them as it is.

Some websites gave it good reviews, can't go wrong i guess at £3.99.
