Well I just got SW Battlefront 2 for a kick-about. You can't really go wrong with something that costs less than a supermarket sandwich.

just picked up KOTOR, Star Wars Empire at war, Magica Vietnam, Just Cause 2 DLC for about £8!!

Yesterday i picked up Darkstar 1 and space empires. My Bank balance will hate me soon.

This is kinda off topic but twice now I have set something to download over night and the ETA has been like 2 hours max so in power saving setting I set it to go into sleep mode after 2 hours. I did this both times but my computer has been on each time that I have woken up. What is the best way to timer it to turn off?
Guessing someone here would have done the same considering the awful download speeds at the moment.

Windows has a built in shutdown command.
Run "shutdown /?" from a cmd prompt for more info, you can put a timeout on it

you can get both of them in the pack for only a few quid.

both are great games

shame about the 3rd thou, still hoping it'll make an apperance one day

Caved in and just bought the Longest Journey pack. Plus KOTOR, Star Wars Battlefront 2 and Terraria. Can't see those getting much cheaper, so thought what the hell.

Not to bad, all of those for about 11 quid.

Loved the originals, and remember enjoying the FPS version demo.

Will give these a good crack.

Shogun Total War 2? Is this an improvement on the Empire and Napolean TW's? I'm thinking of picking this up, never played the original but loved MTW (and Empire for that matter, despite its problems).

There's a big thread about it - use the search to find it. Short answer: yes. It's much better than Empire, but perhaps suffers a little in the replayability factor as the clans are rather similar.

The force unleashed 2 is abit of stuttery mess of a game, judging from the fact that the videos are playing at around 3FPS with amazingly annoying sound lol

Runs fine here. Can't get v-sync to work though.

Waiting for todays deals, although likely going to have a vets bill this afternoon, so might not have much money left by then

Yeah perhaps I was too quick to judge. None of the FMVs work for me at all though but the game seems to run fine though and looks pretty good as well.

Well the TFU 1 gameplay was quite average but I did enjoy the story. Finished it so kinda hoping TFU 2 will make an appearance on one of the daily deals! If not I'll probably grab it at the end of the sales.
1st one was also locked at 30fps which was quite annoying but get used to it eventually, 2nd one the same ?

The second one is in the sales today is it not? Under the KOTOR Franchise sale.

Picked up the THQ pack, Just Cause 2 and the Heroes pack.

Still keeping an eye out for deals, would have picked up DMC4 if it was under £5 as I have already beaten it thoroughly on PS3. Will pick up Mass Effect 2 if it is a daily deal.

Just hopped on Borderlands for 20 minutes or so and found it really fun. The graphics are beautiful and are, in my opinion, some of the best around. I know they're not the best technically but I love the art style.

I would like to know if you can get AA without taking a massive performance hit though, it felt sluggish even with 2xAA in CCC with a 6950.

It was in the first day of the sales for a fiver. Heard it's awful though, people saying they regret paying even that for it on here.
