Need more space, advice please

Just looking for a bit of advice here. I have a 500GB internal HD with a 300GB HD that I've just fitted and I've also got an external 1TB HD. I'm just wondering what the best way of adding a few more HD's would be? I honestly don't know if there's any space inside for additional HD's.

Any advice appreciated

Not sure... computer is a Packard Bell iXtreme M3720 (Gateway DX4300) and I'm not sure what motherboard I have unfortunately

I fitted a 3TB Hitachi - should keep me going for a while. And performance is not far off by 300GB VRaptor.

As long as you have enough 3.5" bays, SATA ports and SATA power cables, then just add more internal HDDs. This is the cheapest option, and you can get 1tb+ pretty cheap these days compared to external ones.

correct but I think it only held 2 drives

unless theres somewhere else that you might get a hdd in, like with a 5.25 to 3.5" converter and fit it in a spare DVD slot then you might be sol.

Or if you fancied adding another DVD slimline drive and 2 2.5" SATA drives but i guess the first option is what you really need
