Hi guys, I have just noticed that i am running out of space a bit. Got 2xF3's in raid0 with all my stuff on.
I currently have the following partitions

OS - 250gb - 100gb unused
Games - 500gb - 20gb unused
Media - 1.2tb - 200gb unused.

So i reckon i need a new hdd, but i am thinking of getting a 2tb and just transfer all my media to that leaving teh f3's for everything else.

My question is this. As it is just for media, is it ok to just get the cheapest i can, as i imagine speeds will hardly matter? Is that right?

If someone could recommend one, that would be great:)

Cheers guys

Cheers, £50 for a 2tb hdd seems pretty good.:)

In the mean time(probably get one next week). Is there a way to extned my games partition, as i would like to install another game and need more than the 17gb left on that partition.
I tried taking 50gb from my media partition and adding it, but after shrinking the media volume, i am unable to extend the games one. Is it not possible then? or am i doing something wrong?

Just note that the price of the WD drive will go back up tomorrow morning at 9am so you'll pay more for it next week but with free postage it might be cheaper overall.

Right, thanks to the Steam summer sale atm:rolleyes:, my Steam partition is now completely filled up and i have games with nowhere to install them.

Can someone please point me in the right direction as to how to extend the partition?

I cant remember exactly what i tried (not at pc atm) but i think i shrunk my media partition by 200gb and tried to extend the steam partition. Is this not possible?
Please don't tell me the partition has to be formatted first:eek:

Cheers
