Turn Bottom mounted PSU upside down?

My XFX 650w Black Edition PSU is about a month old but the fan is making a noticeable buzzing noise. I was thinking that maybe if I turn it upside down (So the fan if drawing air from inside the case) it may stop the fan buzzing. If it does happen to stop the buzzing do you reckon it'll affect the temps much, mostly the GPU which it'll be competiting against for air, if at all?

Should a PSU not suppose to be pulling ait OUT of the case?
I can not understand what you mean otherwise, DONT put the fan against any metal to restrict airflow if that your plan

does your case have any ventilation at the bottom where the psu sits?

Can't imagine letting air that passed through a hot PSU back into the case being a good idea.

At the minute it's pulling air like this:

Haf 922. 200mm side fan drawing air in, 200mm at front drawing air in, 1 120mm fan at the rear and 2x120mm fans at the top exausting air.

I might just be slow, is you SPU out side of your case? How is it mounted or do I have it all wrong?
Every PC I have built has had a specific spot for a PSU at the back and sucked out air from the case.

Sorry if I am rambling but perhaps i can not visualise your setup.

PSU bottom fan can be setup facing up or down to increase airflow through out the case

So take your pick.

Where on earth did you get that from?

The PSU vents air out of the rear of the psu. Never the other way around (Unless someone has been hacking it)

if turning it upside down eliminates that buzzing noise, then keep it like that, if it doesnt, i think its better to let it suck cold air from the bottom of the case and exhausting it at the back

I did not understand what the OP was on about so was a bit confused; as you will read the sentence again you will see I said it was never a good idea so he should not be doing so if that was his plan

I would agree with this, perhaps there is some dust some where, try giving the fan a slight tap perhaps, works for me.
