Whilst I love the steam sales; one thing I do now have a sense of hatred for is the new Steamguard system.
My home internet is down right now with BT needing to take a look at the exchange, so I tried to login on my brothers computer via him using his phones tethering and on my own mobile; because I've not used those to access steam before I was prompted to use Steamguard.
Only downside is because the steam servers are so overloaded right now; the email just does NOT come through promptly, and because of the delay...sometimes it's invalid by the time it arrives!
Took me about 13 hours to get a valid email, as most of the email supposedly being sent just weren't arriving

hmmmm i could not buy the need for speed pack yesterday because the site was overloaded, now this morning even tho day 6 deals have 8 hours left the price of the nfs pack has gone UP a tenner???????????
is this some mistake????

Even accessing it on my iPad (3g when I was away from the pc on the weekend) is a complete PITA! A unique PIN after logon would have been better, i do deteste SteamGuard!
Their's 85% off the add-on, so it's only £1.50 instead of £9.99. Also the Add-on add's Cooperative mode for up to four players to the game, which is not included in WOP.

I'm having the same problem, trying to buy the WOP add-on for a friend who has no BB due to moving house and I'm using a differnet PC to which I normaly use and I'm just not getting the Steamguard emails.
Will have to get it at home later.

Yes, although I would expect it in the final daily sale again.
There is no need for speed pack in the daily sale
if you click on shift 2 it gives you the option to buy need for speed pack. shift2/undercover/hotpursuit and shift 1 for 24.99....

Looking at this myself. Nealy bought Two worlds. Divinty 2 is good.

avoid clear skies just get the first and 3rd games.

I had to install the Complete mod to get it past the splash screen without it crashing
. It's all good now though

nowhere near the standard of the other games though, i wouldnt say it was worth £2 really for what you get.

I suppose it's mostly comparable to TF2 but that's mainly because of the class system as the game itself is quite different (and not as good). The level I was playing was centered around destroying the other teams moneyball by sending waves of robots at them while defending against the exact same thing. It was quite frantic in parts and decent enough fun but I found it hard to get a decent server.
